Professional Incorporations Regulations allowing lawyers to
incorporate have been approved Dec. 5, 2001 and filed with the Registrar of
Regulations on Dec. 6, 2001. There is a three-step process requiring:
- a preliminary application to the Law Society (Rule
1400, Part 17, and following),
- actual incorporation at the Corporations
Branch, and
- finally an application for a permit (Form C-1,
PDF, 3 pages) from the Law Society.
The fee for the application to
obtain a permit is $125 payable to the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
