Public Representatives

The Legal Profession Act allows for the appointment of up to four Public Representatives.  These people are non-lawyers appointed by the Minister of Justice for Saskatchewan to provide a visible public aspect to the activities of the Benchers.   The Law Society is grateful for and values their input.

The Benchers meet regularly six to eight times per year, throughout the province.

The Attorney General of Canada and the Attorney General for Saskatchewan are ex-officio Benchers.
