ACKNOWLEDGMENTS This latest addition of the Limitations Manual is the product of several partnerships which must be acknowledged. The original Manual began with the Law Foundation funding Michael and Shirley McGuire’s research. When Michael resigned from his position at the Law Society of Saskatchewan Libraries, the manual was in an unfinished form and I was asked to complete the work. With the continued support of the Law Foundation, I employed four eager students from the College of Law. Dwight Neuman, Andrea Argue, Keir Vallance and J.D. Roberts spent the summer of 1999 reading statutes and identifying possible limitation periods. Donna Revet was then employed to bring her considerable skills to the organization and preparation of the original Manual. Since the original release in 2000 she has also diligently watched for changes in legislation and made substantial amendments to the manual, including the latest change to the new Limitations Act. Finally, we would like to acknowledge Sue Baer and the staff of the Law Society of Saskatchewan Libraries for their support throughout and in helping to convert the Manual to the on-line format.
