Photocopies and Copyright in the Library Procedure for members A package has been sent to every member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan. It consisted of:
Read the notice, sign the member photocopy declaration form, and return the signed copy to the Regina library. We expect every member to sign and return his/her member declaration to the library in Regina, regardless of whether you have completed a photocopy declaration in the past. The library will require members to sign one form, which will be kept on file. The library staff will continue to ask the purpose of requests for photocopies to ensure that the use is permitted within the scope of the copyright laws. We will use the signed declaration kept on file to act as the declaration for all permitted use by that member. Renewing your membership with the Law Society of Saskatchewan will renew your photocopy declaration for another year. Information will be added to the invoice to remind you of the photocopy declaration and its renewal with your membership. New Members Articling students and new members will be asked to sign a photocopy declaration upon applying for admission as a member or as a student-at-law.
