Cara Haaf graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, in 2002 and was admitted to the Bar in 2003. She articled in Melfort, Saskatchewan and later practiced in a small firm before joining Scharfstein Gibbings Walen Fisher LLP as an associate in 2007. Ms. Haaf has been a partner with Scharfstein & Co. since 2013. She specializes in the area of Family Law and also practices in the areas of civil litigation, wills, estates and real estate.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Haaf is experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution, having successfully completed the ADR Institute of Canada’s National Introductory Mediation Course in 2015. She has been an active member of the ADR section of the Canadian Bar Association since 2010. She has instructed and assisted at the College of Law for their Dispute Resolution Intensive week and has instructed and assisted with CPLED. Ms. Haaf is currently the co-chair of the board of the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Network of Saskatchewan and a member of the board of the John Bosco Wilderness Camp.
