Crystal Norbeck was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2003. She is a graduate of the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Human Justice degree in 1998 and completed her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2002.
Ms. Norbeck articled at Brownlee Fryett LLP (as it was then), and then took a position after that at Shores Belzil Jardine (as it was then), a civil litigation boutique. She returned to Regina in 2007 to take a position as in-house counsel for the Canadian Union of Public Employees. After five years, she moved to Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP as an Associate in 2012 and was named as a partner in the firm in 2014 and one of three managing partners in 2016. She has been active in the Canadian Bar Association, the Lancaster House, the Centre for Labour-Management and the Canadian Industrial Relations Association and developed an annual Labour Law Conference for major unions across Saskatchewan.
