Ian Wagner was admitted to the Bar in 1996 and practiced in Regina and Saskatoon. In Regina, he practiced with two small litigation boutiques and was the first communications officer for the Courts. In 2002, he joined the Department of Justice Canada (IRS/Aboriginal Law), and in 2008 worked at Legal Aid in Saskatoon. In 2011 he joined The Barrister Group and in 2013, started his own firm, Wagner Law in Saskatoon.
Mr. Wagner has served on the Executive of the Saskatoon Bar Association for eight years with one year as President. He is currently the Vice President of the STLA, a member of the CBA, and the Saskatoon Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association. Legal volunteer activity includes presenting at a number of conferences and teaching at the Law School. He has served as a Bencher with Law Society of Saskatchewan since November 2015.
