James A. Morrison was admitted to the Bar in 1983. Throughout his career he has focused primarily on family law, estate and civil litigation. He is also a certified mediator and collaborative lawyer, completing a two-year term as the President of the Collaborative Professionals of Saskatchewan in 2018.
In addition, Mr. Morrison has served as a Sessional Lecturer in the College of Commerce, as well as a Sessional Lecturer in the College of Law. He has been a guest speaker at the College of Law in the areas of mediation and alternative dispute resolution as well as a presenter for the Canadian Bar Association and Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association in different capacities throughout the years. He has extensive experience both at trial in the Court of King’s Bench and before the Court of Appeal. He has built his practice on the foundation of professional integrity and ethics.
