January 25, 2023From Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan
The Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan has issued an Administrative Notice on the preferred form of address for judges of the Court. To increase gender inclusivity, the use of “My Lord” and “My Lady” is no longer required. The preferred form of gender-neutral address is “Chief Justice”, “Associate Chief Justice” or “Justice”, along with the judge’s last name, or alternatively, “Chief Justice”, “Associate Chief Justice” or “Justice”, as the case may be.
