The Ministry of Justice acts as the Central Authority pursuant to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Information about the Abduction Convention is available on the Government of Saskatchewan website.
We regularly receive requests from foreign applicants for names of lawyers who can represent clients in proceedings brought under the Abduction Convention. To that end, we maintain a list of Saskatchewan lawyers that we can provide to foreign applicants. If you would like your name, or your firm’s name, to be included on this list, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that any legal fees incurred will be the responsibility of the client.
