New Queen’s Bench Practice Directive

The Court of Queen’s Bench has issued a new Practice Directive effective February 1, 2020, to require all parties appearing on a family law chamber application to each exchange and file a chambers appearance memo in the form attached to the practice directive. The practice directive does not apply to child protection matters, appearance day applications or applications made without notice. The new practice directive, FAM-PD #6 Family Chambers Appearance Memo, and form can be found on the Courts’ website.
