This year, we published the last Saskatchewan Queen’s Bench Rules Annotated ever – or at least for the foreseeable future. Our print deadline was August 26, 2022, and the final proof was approved a mere week before the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Eight days later, the Court made amendments to the Rules that take effect November 1, 2022.
If you ever dismay about the rigidity of the law, bear the events of this September in mind.
