Are you a legal professional looking to make a meaningful impact on lung health in Saskatchewan? Lung Saskatchewan is seeking a dedicated lawyer to join our Governance Board as a volunteer member.

As a member of our Governance Board, you will:

  • Provide legal expertise to guide our policies, governance practices, and risk management.
  • Support our mission to enhance lung health and advocate for clean air, tobacco reduction, and lung disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team of professionals and community leaders.
    Gain valuable board experience while giving back to an important cause.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a lawyer licensed to practice in Saskatchewan with:

  • Experience in governance, non-profit law, risk management, or policy development.
  • A passion for community service and public health.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous board experience (an asset but not required).

Commitment & Expectations

  • The board meets four times per year for approximately three hours per meeting.
  • Board members typically contribute an additional 1-3 hours per month to support organizational activities, such as committee work, strategic planning, and governance initiatives.
  • This is a volunteer (unpaid) position.
