Robertson Stromberg is seeking a litigation lawyer with experience in civil litigation, and a specific interest in developing a career in credit recovery, debtor/creditor litigation and the enforcement of security. The successful candidate will be exposed to a variety of matters, and be part of a practice that extends to bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring matters. Robertson Stromberg offers the ability to gain mentorship from experienced and respected counsel, and to engage with a large client base, and advises all manner of creditors, debtors and insolvency professionals.
Responsibilities Include:
A willingness to develop experience in credit recovery, debtor-creditor, bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring law.
Prepare various legal documents accurately and in a timely manner.
Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
Explain legal options to clients and bring possible outcomes or threats to their attention.
Build relationships with clients based on knowledge and trust.
Provide excellent service by responding to clients in a timely and professional manner.
Follow office policies and standard procedures.
Stay informed about current legislation and legal developments in your area of expertise.
Qualifications:
Preference is given to lawyers with between 2 to 5 years of experience, but consideration may be given to other applicants.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
