Highlight the key points of your presentation and help your audience follow along. They will have a logical progression, be easy to read, and give context to your talking points.
A general outline of a slide presentation often follows the format below:
Title Slide stating the presentation title and your name.
Objective/Agenda Slide explaining what you will cover and how you will cover it.
Body Slides displaying simple content that supports your verbal presentation.
Summary Slide reinforcing your main points.
Closing Slide to conclude your presentation. It may include your title, contact information, or prompt audience discussion.
Approved File Type: PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx)
Designing your slides:
Use widescreen slides (16:9 ratio).
Use a large, simple font that stands out against the background.
Use visual aids like images and charts to emphasize points and create interest.
Put only the bare bones of your presentation onto your slides. Too much content on a slide can make it unreadable, ineffective, or distracting while you speak.
