Your materials are an important contribution to the continuing professional development of the legal community.
Slides help your audience to follow along with your presentation and can provide useful cues to you as you present.
Additional Materials such as substantive papers, checklists, precedents, lists of tips/traps, and other reference tools are great additions to a slide deck and are strongly encouraged. These types of materials allow you to address your topic in as much depth and breadth as you think appropriate. They also provide reference and context about your presentation, which increases audience engagement. Audiences appreciate receiving such materials at CPD events. They are useful for future reference and allow audience members to deepen their learning. Plus, you can report up to six CPD hours for writing substantive legal materials! See section 12(d) of our CPD Policy for more information.
Submission and Distribution
We aim to send your course materials to attendees in digital form, allowing your audience an opportunity to read and review in advance.
Submit all materials as email attachments to our CPD Coordinatortwo weeks before the presentation. This allows us adequate time for the preparation and distribution of materials.
Still need more time? Please contact our CPD Coordinator as soon as possible.
