Do you find it difficult to state your boundaries clearly and turn down another person’s requests for your time or attention? Are you a people-pleaser who sacrifices your needs for the needs of others? Have you ever found yourself dealing with a difficult person who does not respect the boundaries you do try to set? Building better boundaries involves identifying the different types of boundaries, learning how to set boundaries, talking about your boundaries, and showing others you respect their boundaries.

This webinar will explore:

  • -The different types of personal boundaries and compare rigid and porous
    boundaries with healthy boundaries.
  • -Why setting boundaries can help you manage expectations.
  • -How to create healthy and firm boundaries, and how to communicate them
    respectfully to other people.
  • -How to respond to people who violate your boundaries.
  • -Specific scripts you can use when setting boundaries, including how to say “no”
    after saying “yes”.
  • -Concrete action plans outlining the changes you can begin to make to set and
    strengthen your boundaries.
  • -How to set boundaries in the hybrid workspace.

Webinar registration includes the Boundaries workbook.

Bena Stock joins us again for this webinar. Bena is a lawyer, a registered clinical counsellor, a mother, and the wife of a litigator. She was a litigator for 24 years, practicing primarily medical negligence and insurance defence before transitioning to an in-house role where she defended lawyers. Bena retired from law and obtained a master’s degree in counselling.
