On February 25, 2021, the Court of Queen’s Bench posted a draft of its proposed amendments to Part 15 of the Rules and Forms of Court respecting family law proceedings. Theses draft rules and forms may be subject to further revision until enacted which will occur following their translation into French. Since the rules are not yet formally enacted but the amendments to legislation that prompted some of the changes comes into effect on March 1, 2021, Chief Justice Popescul has issued an Administrative Notice permitting the use of the draft rules and forms as required to ensure compliance with legislative amendments.
