Canada’s federal family laws related to divorce, parenting, child and spousal support (i.e. family obligations) and enforcement of family obligations are now more responsive to the needs of Canadian families. This event will provide an overview of Canada’s family laws along with the recent changes to these laws and how they may affect those who separate or divorce. Presentations by members of Justice’s Family and Children’s Law Team will go over key changes , including those dealing with parenting arrangements, child support, rules around relocation, family violence, and enforcement of family support obligations.
