As of June 2020, CPLED administers Saskatchewan’s Bar admission course, now known as the Practice Readiness Education Program or PREP. However, as PREP is multi-jurisdictional, Saskatchewan students require additional orientation specific to the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
For the Law Society’s orientation, we require all articling students review the following videos. Total viewing time is approximately three (3) hours. Additional orientation videos will follow upon completion of the PREP Capstone and prior to call.
Students in June 2020 Intake: The deadline to complete this orientation and submit your Declaration is September 30th.
Students in the December 2020 Intake: The deadline to complete this orientation and submit your Declaration is March 19th.
The suggested viewing order is optional, but Research & Resources should be viewed in order.

Please note that though a student’s articling term may be reduced to eight months, students will still need to successfully complete PREP and receive confirmation of their marks before completing the process of being admitted as a lawyer. This may impact when students submit their articling reports.
