Board Opportunity – Public Representative Bencher
August 12, 2021The Law Society of Saskatchewan is seeking applications from members of the public, who are not lawyers, to serve as board members for a three-year term. The Law Society regulates the legal profession in the public interest, including setting standards for admission, education, ethics and the conduct of lawyers. This duty is entrusted to the Benchers who are the governing body of the Law Society. There are currently two appointments to be made, effective January 1, 2022.
I am interested in submitting an application to serve on the Board of Directors of the Law Society, as a public representative. Please provide information as to the process to submit my application.
