PPSA 1101 – Survey Course on the PPSA
Dr. Clayton Bangsund is offering professional courses on the Personal Property Security Act. Articling students in the Province of Saskatchewan are eligible to enrol in the Survey Course (PPSA 1101) for free. This course will be held at Alt Hotel in Saskatoon on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. The course has been pre-approved by the Law Society of Saskatchewan for 3 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit. About the Instructor
Clayton Bangsund (BEd, Regina; JD, PhD, Alberta; LLM, Columbia) is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, where his teaching responsibilities include Secured Transactions in Personal Property, Advanced Secured Transactions and numerous other commercial courses. Clayton is a member of the Canadian Conference on Personal Property Security Law (CCPPSL) and the working group tasked by the CCPPSL with reviewing the Canadian PPSAs and setting forth proposals for change. He recently reinstated active membership status with the Law Society of Saskatchewan and launched Julius Erwin Consulting.
