Upcoming Access to Justice Week Events

As we reported yesterday, the inaugural Saskatchewan Access to Justice Week is October 18-25, 2016. Several events have been planned, including a talk by The Honourable Mr. Justice Cromwell, recently retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. Here is a brief snapshot of the upcoming events. • Tuesday, October 18: A Spotlight on Saskatchewan Access to Justice Initiatives – Launch of Awareness Campaign

• Wednesday, October 19: A Spotlight on Creating Your Career in the 21^st Century: A Panel on Emerging Career Opportunities and New Ways to Practice Law

• Thursday, October 20: A Spotlight on Access to Justice Champions: A Volunteer Appreciation Event

• Friday, October 21: A Spotlight on Legal Information for Newcomers: Launch of PLEA’s Newcomer Website and Initiative

• Monday, October 24: A Spotlight on Engaging the Public in Imagining Access to Justice Solutions: Launch of Architects of Justice Program

• Tuesday, October 25: A Spotlight on the Future of Access to Justice: “Movement on Access to Justice or An Access to Justice Movement? Where Access to Justice in Civil and Family Matters Goes from Here”, featuring The Honourable Mr. Justice Cromwell
