Topics

We are looking for content that covers a variety of legal topics that might be of interest to our readership. Here’s a few examples of blog post topics:

• Access to Justice
• Legal Information
• Legal Resources
• Events
• Diversity and Inclusion
• Firm Culture
• Health and Wellness
• Law Office Management
• Legal Education
• Legislation
• Technology
• Truth and Reconciliation
• Writing and Editing

Posts should be between 300 – 500 words. Longer posts may be considered. For events, shorter blog posts no longer than 300 words are preferred. Contact us if you have any questions.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Hours

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours may be available to Law Society members who contribute to the blog. CPD hours are based on the actual time to produce the final product, to a maximum of six (6) hours per writing project. Please see the CPD policy for more information.

Editing

The Law Society reserves the right to edit posts for spelling, grammar, etc.

Publishing

Publishing of submitted posts will be done at the discretion of the Law Society. We reserve the right to decline publishing any submitted post and to remove any post after it has been published.
