National Volunteer Week is celebrated from April 27 to May 3 in 2025 to highlight the power, impact and importance of individual and collective volunteer efforts across Canada. Thanks are extended to the many volunteers in the legal profession who volunteer their time and expertise to support continuing professional development and pro bono legal services.
The Family Law Information Centre provides help sessions, self-help kits, fact sheets, sample clauses, and a family law video series. Family law help sessions enable the public to meet with volunteers to obtain legal information, assistance and referrals. These sessions offer information and ongoing support for people whose cases are moving through the family justice system.
