As mentioned in June, the Law Society updated our complaint form to assist and encourage complainants to provide clear and concise descriptions of their concerns, and reduce confusion by removing technical terms that may not be fully understood by members of the general public (i.e.: “conflict of interest”). Now our new complaint form is available as an easy-to-use online form. The form is intended to encourage complainants to provide all relevant information and supporting documentation during their initial contact with the Law Society and to reduce the resources needed to obtain a “full picture” before forwarding the complaint to the member for a response.
