Pride Season refers to the Pride events that take place “when 2SLGBTQI+ communities and allies come together to spotlight the resilience, celebrate the talent, and recognize the contributions of 2SLGBTQI+ communities.” Many Pride events are held in June in Saskatchewan to recognize and support Saskatchewan’s community. Events contribute to the collective call for respect, dignity, equality, and justice for all.
It is encouraged to take time this month and beyond to learn about and reflect on the lived experiences, challenges, and contributions of the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
