Description
This webinar will provide an overview of the key provisions in The Child and Family Services Act, including: decision-making in the Child’s Best Interests, s.9 voluntary agreements, determining that a child is in need of protection, and the criteria to be met in order to apprehend a child. Other items that will be reviewed include, what are the types of orders a court can make and the possible consequences of the various types of orders? A description of the court process in several locations will be provided, along with practice considerations. There will be case law examples and time for questions.
