Practice conditions or restrictions are special requirements governing how some lawyers are allowed to engage in the practice of law or, in some cases, the areas of law in which they may practice. Practice conditions or restrictions can be imposed through the discipline process or in the context of the admissions process. In other cases, lawyers voluntarily agree to practice under conditions or restrictions. Not all practice conditions or restrictions are public.
