Sections 7(2), 8, 11(2), 25, 28, 31 and 57 of An Act to amend the Tobacco Act and the Non-smokers’ Health Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, SC 2018, c 9, are proclaimed into force 200 days after the day on which this Order is made (April 23, 2019) (PC 2019-0382). The newly in force amendments affect how tobacco products can be legally marketed in Canada. The bill as a whole adds the regulating of vaping products to the act.
