Legislative Update March 2020
March 18, 2020The following regulations were published in The Saskatchewan Gazette, Part II, Vol. 116 No. 10, March 6, 2020:
- SR 13/2020 The Training Allowance Amendment Regulations, 2020

Bill 174 The Enforcement of Maintenance Orders Amendment Act, 2019
Bill 175 The Marriage Amendment Act, 2019
The Amendment Act:
- adds a new provision to The Marriage Act, 1995 to expressly provide for an application to the court a declaration of nullity where a person believes that a party to a marriage did not have capacity to provide valid consent to enter into the marriage contract; and
- repeals section 17 of The Wills Act, 1996, which revoked a will on marriage or cohabitation of 24 months.
