A decision has been released in relation to the matter of Law Society of Saskatchewan v James Turner, Q.C. The following allegations against the Member were proven:
The following penalty was imposed by the Hearing Committee:
a. IT IS ORDERED THAT JAMES DELBER TURNER, Q.C. is suspended for a period of two (2) months, such suspension to commence no later than May 1, 2020;
b. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT JAMES DELBER TURNER, Q.C. shall pay costs to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in the amount of $4,050.00 by August 1, 2020, or such other date as the Chair of Discipline may approve.
