The Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety is seeking individuals interested in being included on a list of adjudicators to hear appeals of decisions under Part III (Occupational Health and Safety) of The Saskatchewan Employment Act. The ideal candidate would have mediation, arbitration and/or alternate dispute resolution experience as well as an knowledge of administrative tribunals. A law degree and/or certification as a mediator or arbitrator is preferred but not required.
Information on the appeal and adjudicative process can be found in Division 8 of Part III and Part IV of The Saskatchewan Employment Act as well as on saskatchewan.ca.
The successful candidates will be appointed by Order in Council to serve at pleasure for a term of three years. Rates of remuneration are set as per government standards.
