The CPD section of the website remains in a similar layout to the old version. There are three main areas: CPD Policy, CPD Activities, and CPD on Demand. Also included is recognition of our CPD volunteers and the contact information for the department.
To find a list of upcoming Law Society CPD Activities, choose the main Continuing Professional Development page. Here we feature events that we organize as well as provide links to registration. Please note that these events can also be found in the CPD Activities Calendar. For other important and regularly searched for items, check out the sidebar. Here you can find links to the CPD Activities Calendar, the CPD Activity Application Form, the CPD Policy, past Recorded Versions, and instructions for reporting your CPD hours.
The Calendar of Activities houses all Law Society CPD events as well as other Saskatchewan based CPD providers. The event titles will be preceded by their respective provider title or acronym and when clicked will link directly to the details or registration page (similar to our events on the CPD front page).
The CPD Policy page is your resource for information regarding the Continuing Professional Development program. Please take time to review this section and stay up to date on our policies and your requirements.
The CPD Activities page speaks specifically to eligible CPD activities. Here you will find both upcoming & past events as well as information on how to claim CPD hours from other sources.
The CPD on Demand page is the place to find educational resources. Of greatest note is our “Recorded Versions” page, which lists all of the past CPD recorded versions available to purchase which qualify for CPD hours. The Law Society is in the process of developing an automated system for this section where seminar/webinar registration, purchase of recorded versions, and payment will take place online through our website. In the meantime, please browse this section and contact our CPD Administrator, Katrina Perrault, to order any recorded versions you are interested in viewing.
