The Government of Saskatchewan has recently passed regulatory amendments that authorize non-profit corporations, condominium corporations, co-operatives and new generation co-operatives to hold annual general meetings by telephone, video conference or other electronic means. The amendments will ensure that these organizations can safely hold annual general meetings during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Individual organizations remain responsible for ensuring that the necessary requirements of the applicable legislation are still met.
