By Christine Muldoon, Resource Co-ordinator
We are proud to announce that we have updated the Saskatchewan Limitations Manual! Christine Johnston, BEd, LLB has revised more than 40 annotations, incorporating case law current to 2018, and added a dozen Acts to the manual, including Saskatchewan statutes current to October 17, 2018.
The new Limitations Manual is available through Qweri, the user-friendly platform from Lexum. As was the case with the previous version, the user can consult annotations on statutes alphabetically by first letter. Christine Johnston has also provided an index of statutes by subject, so you can be sure to consider relevant limitation periods no matter what area of law you are working in. The Saskatchewan Limitations Manual does not include federal statutes, but we endeavour to provide a comprehensive list of Saskatchewan-specific limitation periods. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you find any errors or omissions.
You can visit the Saskatchewan Limitations Manual here. There are also links through the Law Society and SLIA websites.
