The Law Society Library is pleased to present a half-day legal research session designed for new lawyers and individuals wanting to brush up on the basics. Held June 10 (Saskatoon) and June 11 (Regina), the session will provide legal research instruction from experienced law librarians and hands-on learning activities involving both print and online resources.
In the first part of the afternoon, I will give you information on the Library’s services and resources, and our Members’ Section. Then the real legal research experts take over – our Reference Librarians Ken Fox and Alan Kilpatrick will be joined by Ann Marie Melvie, Librarian with the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan. During the rest of the day, participants will be divided into two groups for two concurrent hands-on sessions:
