The Law Society was delighted to kick-off our in-person CPD Spring Programming with the first of our two-part Self-Represented Litigants Lunch and Learn Series, The Big Shift-Responding to Increasing Self-Representation in Family Law! We hosted the sessions first at the Sheraton Cavalier in Saskatoon on Wednesday March 27th and then in Regina on Thursday March 28th at the Delta.
Our panel featured Madam Justice Goebel, Kim Newsham and Christine Hansen-Chad, who each offered their unique and varied experiences with, and perspectives on, Self-Represented Litigants in a Family Law context. Invaluable insights and practical, actionable tips were offered and gratefully received by attendees.
Some feedback from attendees:
“There was good practical application that I can take with me into my practice.”
“Very informative and relevant.”
“Excellent timely topic.”
