Concern with Legal Professional
The Law Society investigates misconduct or incompetence concerns about its members, including Saskatchewan:
- lawyers
- limited licensees
- articling students
- law firms
The Law Society does not handle concerns about the justice system, generally.
For concerns with legal support staff, proceed as if the concern is with the lawyer or limited licensee. The lawyer or limited licensee supervising their work may be responsible for support staff conduct.
The Law Society also investigates concerns about law firms. This may be appropriate if a concern is raised about the actions of a law firm or management of the law firm itself, rather than an individual lawyer.
