Conduct That Reflects Adversely
How a lawyer or limited licensee holding public office carries out their official responsibilities may not be a Law Society concern if it includes the lawyer or limited licensee:
- holding contrary views
- voting in a manner you do not agree with
The Law Society may investigate conduct that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s or limited licensee’s:
- professional integrity
- professional competence
For example, using their position of power to bully or threaten.
If you believe the conduct of a lawyer or limited licensee holding public office reflected adversely on their integrity or professional competence, submit a complaint.
