Opposing Counsel
Opposing counsel have a duty to represent their clients.
Opposing counsel owes you no duty, and you may feel an opposing counsel’s actions are directly contrary to your wishes or interests.
The Law Society reviews issues of member conduct. A lawyer or limited licensee representing their client’s interests in a dispute is generally not misconduct.
