Description :

TTH Law Firm specializes in a wide range of legal services at a high standard of quality with an office in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join our Regina office.

REQUIREMENTS AND CANDIDATE ASSETS

The ideal candidate will:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience acting as the accountant for a law firm;
- Proficiency using legal accounting software;
- Experience performing payroll accounting tasks, including issuing payroll, preparing T4 slips, preparing ROEs, etc.;
- Experience in reconciling both General bank accounts and Trust bank accounts; and
- Experience preparing year-end financial reports in accordance with ASPE and the requirements of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconciling Trust and General accounts;
- Prepare monthly payroll;
- Posting Accounts Payable;
- Posting firm receipts;
- Reconcile corporate credit cards;
- Reissuing stale-dated cheques;
- Remit GST and payroll deductions;
- Prepare year end financial reports and T4s;
- Develop and present monthly accounting reports to partners; and
- Such further and other accounting and bookkeeping duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
