The Benchers are authorized by The Legal Profession Act, 1990 to implement and enforce Rules governing the practice of law and all aspects of the regulatory process including trust accounting requirements, hearing processes, admissions standards, continuing professional development and much more.
The Rules of the Law Society of Saskatchewan are amended from time to time with a view to continuously improving the profession and the regulatory process. The consolidated version of the Rules on the website is updated regularly. The updates included in the consolidation will also be posted in separate files to facilitate printing for anyone maintaining a hard copy of the Rules.
