Free Webinar – Searching Saskatchewan Legislation: Your Key Primer (CPD 310)

October 28, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CST

Free

Qualifies for 1.0 CPD Hour.

Lost in legislation? Trying to trace the history of an elusive statute? Never fear: your bearded legal information gurus – Legal Resources Co-Directors Ken Fox and Alan Kilpatrick – are here to guide you through the key aspects of searching for Saskatchewan legislation in this free CPD event.

When did this act come into force? Has this section been cited in court? Is this statute available online? These are the legislative questions you most commonly ask us. Online legal resources have changed significantly over the past few years. In light of the above, we’ll review the key legislative resources that should be in your research arsenal: CanLII, HeinOnline, Publications Saskatchewan, and Westlaw. By the time this webinar is over, you’ll be able to locate legislation online, note up a statute, and pinpoint what a section looked like on a particular date.

You can’t afford to miss this must see webinar on October 28th at 12:00pm.
