This seminar will be beneficial for corporate lawyers, whether in private practice or in-house counsel, as well as those who serve as board members for corporations, non-profits, or Crowns.
Sessions will include effective practices for board and shareholder meetings, including leading practices for meeting preparation and conduct, regulatory requirements and other topics of interest as well as a panel discussion on the important interaction between positive group dynamics and board performance. Morning sessions will be available to both in-person and livestream attendees.
In the afternoon, participants who attend in person will engage in facilitated, interactive sessions where they will have the opportunity to discuss real-world challenges, pose questions, and gain insights from peers and experts. Participants are encouraged to submit examples of governance problems for potential use in breakout sessions to christine.johnston@lawsociety.sk.ca by May 17, 2024.
