At previous SALI sessions, information was provided by Publications Saskatchewan and the Ministry of Justice about the Representing Yourself website and the Legal Information project. Join Melanie Hodges Neufeld, Senior Crown Counsel, e-Justice Program, Ministry of Justice, for an update on the Representing Yourself Legal Information Portal Beta Project. We will also spend the time gathering feedback from session participants on the resources recently added to the site and suggestions for future improvements.
Background: The Legal Information Portal project aims to provide comprehensive and centralized information to help the public clearly identify their legal issues in a variety of areas and direct them to the information, resources and/or services they require. This project will initially focus on wills, estates, power of attorney and bankruptcy.
