Family Justice 1: Conflict Engagement, Conflict Resolution and Communication

The University of Saskatchewan College of Law is offering a five-week online micro-credential course in family law. The course is designed to equip participants with the essentials of family conflict dynamics, apply negotiation and mediation techniques, and enhance the ability to convey complex legal information.
Registrants will have access to the online course starting September 8, 2025, and the course will commence on September 11, 2025, continuing weekly until October 9, 2025.

Breaking Up is Hard to Do

The 2025 McKercher Lecture will be held on September 17, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 pm at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, MLT Aikins Lecture Theatre. In this session, Eric Adams, Professor of Law at the University of Alberta, will examine the constitutional law that governs the possibility of a province leaving Canada and the constitutional politics aiming to keep Canada intact.
