2022 IHL Conference: Armed Conflict & Protection of Future Generations

The Canadian Red Cross, in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Political Studies and the College of Law, is hosting the 2022 International Humanitarian Law: Armed Conflict and Protection of Future Generations conference on February 4.
The Conference will begin with an introduction to IHL, linking the topic to the law of armed conflict and be followed by a panel. Join experts as they discuss contemporary challenges related to armed conflict as well as the role of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in protecting future generations. This event will bring together experts in the field, including academics and practitioners to discuss the challenges that this topic raises, including the impact of war on children, the environmental impact of conflict, and new weapons technologies and what lies ahead.
This conference has been accredited for 2.25 CPD hours by the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
