Transform Your Practice: A Trauma-Informed Professional Development Retreat

Join us in Whistler from April 11-13 for a unique and holistic Professional Development Retreat to unpack the nature and impacts of trauma by adopting a holistic point of view using a biopsychosocial lens. We are offering an optional 4th retreat day to take your learnings to the next level. Saskatchewan registrants receive a 10 percent and the retreat is approved for 16 CPD hours, all of which qualify for ethics.
The retreat offers a unique and holistic approach to understanding the impacts of trauma with a focus on the law and justice sector but is not limited to it. If you are working outside the law profession but trauma and its impact is part of your daily professional life and you are passionate about the topic, then this retreat is for you too! The aim of the gathering is to help you to develop strategies to not only empower your sense of self and well-being, but also to create healthy professional relationships, and positive client engagement.
As professionals, we know that trauma can have a significant impact on both individuals and systems. This is why our retreat focuses on exploring the nature and impacts of trauma, examining both individual and systemic factors. Our goal is to equip you with essential insights, understanding, and tools to better support those in our communities who are most vulnerable, including yourself.
We understand that trauma can be a challenging, triggering, and sensitive topic to discuss. This is why we are offering an optional 4th retreat day – we call it the trauma-informed practice incubator. This intimate workshop will provide you with the opportunity to bring your most complex and challenging scenarios to our small group workshop, working directly with me and Dr. Dhall, and your colleagues, to create strategies rooted in the principles of trauma-informed practice and emotional intelligence. This session will be at an additional cost but is an invaluable chance to elevate the learnings of the previous three days to the next level.
Our retreat is a valuable opportunity for both seasoned practitioners and those just starting out to expand their awareness, strengthen their practice, and connect with like-minded professionals.
