National Volunteer Week – Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan Volunteers

National Volunteer Week is celebrated from April 27 to May 3 in 2025 to highlight the power, impact and importance of individual and collective volunteer efforts across Canada. Thanks are extended to the many volunteers in the legal profession who volunteer their time and expertise to support continuing professional development and pro bono legal services.  

Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan (PBLS) provides free legal advice to low-income clients in Saskatchewan. PBLS operates and partners with 14 free legal clinics across Saskatchewan to help fill the gap in legal services between government-funded legal aid and the private bar.

PBLS extends thanks to the 101 lawyers who volunteered at a Free Legal Clinic in 2024. A special thanks are extended to the lawyers who have continuously volunteered at a Free Legal Clinic.
